A year in review

For Land O'Lakes, 2025 was a year of impact and innovation

It’s been a busy year at Land O’Lakes.

We've given back to our community by logging countless volunteer hours and donating food and backpacks filled with school supplies. We've produced high-quality dairy products and distributed them across the United States. We've created nutritious animal feeds to keep farm animals happy and healthy. And we’ve developed innovative crop input solutions, including new AI-driven tools to help farmers thrive. This work has given us countless stories to celebrate.

Let’s take a look back at some of the great products produced across the enterprise, the resilience our cooperative demonstrated this year and fun memories from 2025 through a few features we published.

Stronger together: Co-op giving in action

Our commitment to giving back delivers real impact.

October is National Cooperative Month—the perfect time to celebrate the power of what’s possible when we work together. This idea has always been the driving force behind Land O’Lakes. Whether facing everyday challenges or moments of crisis, our commitment to giving back delivers real impact when and where it matters most.

Land O'Lakes cheese muscles into the protein game

Protein is trendy—just like Land O’Lakes dairy products.

More than ever, Americans are reaching for protein to improve their overall health and wellness. Recent market research from Circana shows that 41% of adults are looking to increase their protein intake, partially fueled by the popularity of weight-loss drugs.

Cheese is a nutritious and satisfying way to add protein and support a balanced lifestyle—in one tasty, Land O Lakes-branded package. A single ounce of cheddar cheese, for example, offers about 6 grams of protein, along with other nutrients like calcium, several B vitamins and phosphorus.

Rising from the storm and building for the future

Our cooperative always stands together.

After enduring the destruction of a tornado at the Purina Animal Nutrition Center—also known as the Farm—in Gray Summit, Missouri, the Land O’Lakes community showed its passion, character and vision for the future.

The tornado decimated multiple buildings in both the equine and dairy units and caused severe structural damage to numerous others in its wake. The 1,200-acre, industry-leading working farm is home to thousands of animals, and, by early the following morning, each one was accounted for and had their basic needs addressed. Without normal power for nearly four days, the immediate recovery efforts required immense teamwork, alignment and collaboration.

Love thrives on the farm.
