Land O’Lakes, Inc. Named to TIME100 Companies Industry Leaders List

The list highlights the top 200 companies making an extraordinary impact in their industries

ARDEN HILLS, Minn. (April 29, 2026) — Today, TIME named Land O’Lakes, Inc. to its TIME100 Companies Industry Leaders list, a new shortlist for the annual TIME100 Most Influential Companies list, highlighting the top 200 companies making an extraordinary impact in their industries.   

The article explained Land O'Lakes as an Agricultural Advocate:  

"U.S. farms are facing many challenges: Volatile trade policies and foreign conflicts disrupt supply chains, raise costs of inputs like fertilizer, and heighten barriers to selling crops in foreign markets. Immigration crackdowns add labor pressures. Extreme weather reduces yield. Land O’Lakes, a century-old farm cooperative that touches 50% of U.S. harvested acres, is helping on the ground and in policy discussions, pushing for improved market access and a Farm Bill that reflects current risks, all with the goal of boosting food security and accessibility. “American farmers operate in constant volatility,” says CEO Beth Ford. “These are not just issues for farmers and the food system. They impact consumers and the entire economy.” The company in 2025 teamed with Microsoft to launch the AI-powered app “Oz” to help farmers optimize operations, and backed AgRogue Growth Partners, a coalition of ag retail partners that will invest in ag tech start-ups. The co-op also is reducing food waste, working with Spoiler Alert to redirect more than 10.3 million pounds of surplus dairy products with limited shelf-life to secondary markets and food banks." 

To assemble the lists, TIME solicited nominations across sectors, and polled its global network of contributors and correspondents, as well as outside experts. Then TIME editors evaluated each on key factors, including impact, innovation, ambition, and success. The result is a diverse group of 200 companies shaping global business, one industry at a time.
