Chris leads the Animal Nutrition portfolio, which encompasses livestock and lifestyle animals, as well as the ingredient portfolio. The portfolio is anchored by the iconic Purina brand, which delivers the best in animal nutrition.

Prior to this role, Chris served for over a year as the Vice President of Crop Nutrition and Cooperative Alliances for WinField United, the crop inputs and insights business of Land O’Lakes, Inc. Chris created value for WinField owners by operating an efficient crop nutrition, logistics and procurement business. He also helped local cooperatives and independent members in a wide range of business transformation activities including merger assistance, forming partnerships, board structure and training.

Before Land O’Lakes, Chris spent nearly ten years in South Dakota. He oversaw operations and was the Chief Operating Officer at South Dakota Wheat Growers. He then became CEO of Wheat Growers shortly before Agtegra was formed by the merger of Wheat Growers and North Central Farmers Elevator. Chris served 5 years as CEO of Agtegra Cooperative.

Chris’s career-long passion has been creating value for farmers by building the cooperatives they own into sustainable, member-focused and profitable businesses.
