Farmer’s Cooperative (FC), located in North Central Iowa, has 50 locations, 500 employees, a 105 million bushel storage capacity and also serves as an animal feed company. FC strives to attract, hire and retain new employees by partnering with Land O’Lakes Business Development Services (BDS) and ensuring that serving the farmer’s need is their bottom line.

Farmers and co-op leaders traveled to Washington, DC with Land O'Lakes several times since the beginning of 2012. More than 30 farmers flew in to Washington hosted by Winfield Solutions. Business Development Services repeated a forum in DC for more than 125 co-op managers and farmer-directors.

Our facility in Carlisle, Penn., has the primary role as a balancing plant for milk on the East coast. Each day, the plant produces 500,000 lbs. of butter and 600,000 lbs. of dried powdered milk.
